Eye Donation Campaign
With the aim of motivating the general public to donate eyes, it has been decided to run the campaign regularly as before, under which resolution letters were filled every year for eye donation. On this occasion, it was told while making people aware that after our death, our body is burnt, if our organs are transplanted to some other person, then his life can be good and there is no greater virtue than that. We can make someone else's life easier.
Singing Competition for Blind Girls Organized on 13 - 15 May 2022
In VKI Recreation Club, 13 May 2022 to 15 May 2022 Singing competition organized, in which 97 blind girls participated. Mr. Sita Ram Agarwal (Treasurer State Congress Committee ) was the chief guest.
Heller-Keller Day Celebrations on 27 June 2022
Heller Keller was a foreign woman. Despite being a deaf and mute woman with blindness, she got higher education. She was such a woman that she was never dependent on anyone, but became the support of hundreds of people.
Independence Day Celebrations on 15 August 2022
Independence Day celebrations were celebrated by the institute with great pomp in the premises of the institution. The flag was hoisted on the occasion. After the national anthem, children displayed their art through patriotic songs. Along with this, everyone was entertained by musical instruments. How teaching is done through Braille script was also demonstrated.
Organizing Gandhi Jayanti Celebrations on 2nd October 2022
The institute celebrated the birth anniversary of the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi with great pomp. On this occasion, the life and work of Mahatma Gandhi was thrown light. Honorable Secretary said that Mahatma Gandhi taught the country the lesson of truth and non-violence while following the path of non-violence. Every aspect of his life provides education for us. On this occasion his Dear bhajan "Vaishnav Jan To Tene Kahiye Je Peer Parai Jaane Re" was also sung. Everyone took a vow on this occasion that connecting the life of Mahatma Gandhi with their life would be true tribute to them.
Chess Competition Organized on 14 - 16 October 2022
In Institue, 14 October 2022 to 16 October 2022 chess competition organized, in which 152 blind people participated. Mr. Naveen Jain (Secretary Panchayati Raj Vibhaag ) was the chief guest.
White Stick Day on 15 October 2022
For the blind, the stick is his identity. Through it he can come anywhere. Seeing which one can guess that it is blind. Many blind people of the society were invited on this occasion and sticks were distributed to them.
World Disabled Day on 3rd December 2022
World Disabled Day is organized every year on 3rd December for the disabled. In the program organized by the organization on this occasion, they were made to realize that they are not alone but the whole society is with them. They should move forward by making their disability their strength. Society is always ready to cooperate with them. On this occasion, arrangements were made to get the necessary materials like tricycle, stick, glasses, hearing machine, etc. for the physically handicapped, mentally handicapped, visually impaired, deaf, deaf, etc. On this occasion, Dr. CP Joshi, Hon'ble Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, Dr. Veena Pradhan, and other dignitaries were present. During this, the efforts of the visually impaired organization Louis Braille Blind Development Organization were appreciated by the media persons, audience and guests present.
Establishment of Organization 04 January 2023
The occasion threw light on the life of Louis-Brelle. Louis Braille is considered a god for the blind. It is the result of his efforts that today the blind are not only able to read but are able to do all the necessary work of their life well. From working on a computer to running a mobile phone, listening to music and singing, reading and teaching, etc., Louis Braille has an important contribution to do all the work. 26 January 2023 Republic Day Celebration Organized
Republic Day was celebrated with great pomp in the organization. On this occasion, many physical exercises including music, group dance, solo dance, speech, performance of musical instruments etc. were performed. Many dignitaries from the VKI region were present on the occasion.
Malakar Project – September 2024
In September 2024, we hosted the Malakar Project, a special initiative focused on personal grooming, creative skills, and self-care for the visually impaired community. The event was conducted in collaboration with the PMVY and received an enthusiastic response.
More than 120 participants took part in the project, which included:
- Garland-making (Mala Banana) sessions to promote creativity and fine motor skills
- Awareness on personal hygiene
- Confidence-building activities through guided support
- This hands-on activity was not only enjoyable but also a learning experience for the students, helping them gain new skills and boosting their self-esteem.
- We are thankful to PMVY and all volunteers for their time, energy, and dedication toward our students.
SBI Bank Foundation Day – 1st July 2025
On the occasion of SBI Bank’s Foundation Day, a special celebration was organized at Louis Braille Drishtiheen Vikas Sansthan on 1st July 2025 in collaboration with SBI PWD Branch, Jaipur.
During the event, our visually impaired students were joyfully gifted school bags and water bottles. A cake-cutting ceremony was held, and the SBI team personally celebrated with the children, making the day memorable and full of smiles.
We sincerely thank SBI Bank for their thoughtful gesture, continued support, and for celebrating this special day with our children.
🌱 Plantation Day: Visually Impaired Children Spread the Message of Greenery

Location: Louis Braille Drishtiheen Vikas Sansthan, JaipurOur visually impaired students celebrated Plantation Day under the Green Jaipur–Patrika Campaign with joy and enthusiasm, planting saplings as a symbol of environmental responsibility. The event, joined by dignitaries and environmentalists, spread a strong message of a greener future. This initiative fostered confidence, inclusion, and awareness among our children.
Visit of Shri M.H. Dalmia – 31st July 2025
On 31st July 2025, Shri M.H. Dalmia, representing Dalmia Group Holdings, visited Louis Braille Drishtiheen Vikas Sansthan.
During his visit, he interacted warmly with our visually impaired students, observed various ongoing educational and vocational activities, and appreciated the efforts of our team in empowering blind children through education.
